This Privacy Policy describes how AG Nest Stream Deck Control accesses, uses, and handles information when interacting with Google Nest devices through Google APIs.

Overview

AG Nest Stream Deck Control is a privately operated application designed for personal use. The application allows authorized Google Nest devices to be monitored and controlled using an Elgato Stream Deck.

The application is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google, Google Nest, or Elgato.

Information Accessed

When a user authorizes AG Nest Stream Deck Control through their Google account, the application may access information necessary to provide Nest device-control functionality, including:

• Google Nest device identifiers and device information
• Thermostat temperature and status
• Heating and cooling settings
• Thermostat operating modes
• Other device states required to display Nest information
• Authorization credentials necessary to communicate with Google's APIs

The application does not collect or have access to the user's Google account password.

How Information Is Used

Information obtained from Google APIs is used solely to provide the functionality of AG Nest Stream Deck Control.

This includes displaying Nest device information on a Stream Deck and sending user-requested commands to authorized Nest devices, such as changing thermostat temperature or operating mode.

Google user data is not used for advertising, profiling, marketing, or any unrelated purpose.

Data Storage and Security

Authentication credentials or tokens may be stored locally as necessary to maintain the user's authorized connection to Google services.

AG Nest Stream Deck Control does not operate a commercial user database and does not intentionally store Google Nest device information on external servers except where technically necessary to provide the application's functionality.

Reasonable measures are used to protect authentication credentials and other information handled by the application.

Data Sharing

Google user data accessed by AG Nest Stream Deck Control is not sold, rented, or shared with advertisers or data brokers.

Information may be transmitted to Google services as necessary to authenticate the user, retrieve authorized Nest device information, and execute device commands.

Google API Services

AG Nest Stream Deck Control's use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including applicable Limited Use requirements.

Revoking Access

Users can revoke the application's access to their Google account at any time through their Google Account security settings.

Revoking access prevents AG Nest Stream Deck Control from accessing the user's Google Nest devices until authorization is granted again.
